What our guests have to say....

"Love that this place was off the beaten path. Close enough to towns and places to see but far enough away that you could rest in peace. Easy access to highways and lots of hiking trails, falls, rivers, etc. Couldn’t be more pet friendly. Fenced in yard, pillows and cushions to make your “Fido” feel special too :-)"

"If your looking for a perfect get away... look no further. This cabin exceeded all my expectations and was topped off with the most accommodating respectful hosts. Five minutes to incredible sandy beaches and barely 15 to 20 minutes to everything else. Loved how quiet and peaceful it was and looking up to the night sky.... the stars are incredible. Thank you Christina and Jay for sharing your paradise with us. I definitely recommend this cabin and will be back for another stay".

"This place is a gem! The cottage itself is in pristine condition. Thanks to its location in the woods, it is also very quiet (you'll need a car to get there). Qualicum town is very charming and we enjoyed the beach a lot. The communication with the hosts and check-in/check-out were really easy".

"We visited this cabin for a Canada Day long weekend. The cabin was nice, clean and cozy for 4 adults with all the supplies you will need plus more. The location was very private and quiet, the forest setting provides so much relaxation. Christina, Jay and there 3 pooches stopped one evening to say hello. Very friendly and caring owners. They shared with us the cabin history and great bottle of wine from Salt Spring Island – which was delicious by the way. Each morning we ate breakfast at the cabin and spent the day exploring the beautiful nature around, getting back to the cabin for dinner time that we barbequed on the big and clean bbq outside on the deck. We visited the Cathedral Grove, Englishman River Falls, Old Country Market in Coombs, MooBerry Winery (the wine is good and the cheese delicious). Had lunch at the Shady Rest in Qualicum Beach (the smoked salmon chowder was to die for, and the fish and chips were very tasty too) sitting on the outside patio - enjoying gorgeous view of the ocean – it’s really spectacular. There is so much to do and see, we felt one long weekend was not enough. Would like to go back one day, and for sure will recommended this place to friends and family". Magda and Gord

"Stones Throw was such a relaxing and inviting place. The place was exactly as described. We had everything we needed. Just found being nestled in the trees and so close to everything including the beach, restaurants and Qualicum Beach was exactly what we needed. We always travel with Murphy and the pet friendliness was so wonderful. We will be back for sure. Thanks so much, Debbie, Werner and Murphy :)"
